If you're a furry, chances are you've been scouring the web for the best place to buy your fursuit. There's no shortage of sellers out there that seem to have tons of stock and attractive prices, but as I found out the hard way, appearances can be deceiving. I ended up purchasing my wolf fursuit from a popular online auction site. I paid $500 for it... and only got the mid-sized wolf. It was made by a company called High Tail Hall, but I couldn't find any company information on them anywhere, so their contact information is nonexistent.

I had my whole plan set out to get a better suit from a different seller, but my search for a suit didn't go as planned as they disappeared from the internet after only selling one suit. I tried my luck with other popular sites, but my search came up empty as well. It turns out they hadn't been founded as a business after all, but rather as an online community for fursuiters that rented or repurposed old suits and costumes... and that's not illegal by any stretch of the imagination. The original seller was a fursuiter himself, and made a few bucks to make a few bucks, but ended up scaring off the competition who weren't as friendly.
